Baking and family

Baking and family go hand in hand.  How many memories are tied to your kitchen or your mother’s kitchen or grandmother’s? 

I had a perch in one of my grandmother’s kitchens.  It was a red stepstool/chair she had between her kitchen counter and kitchen table.  I could see everything from there.  I loved it.

Now I am the grandmother and I am hoping to create special memories with my grandchildren.  I want them to learn that perfection is not the end goal - love and the fun of sharing are.
